Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
On the flipside, if there's anything you may need to decrease the turnaround time, don't be shy about asking. If it's just a matter of finding the time, that's an entirely different situation to "X and X might make this process quicker."
Whatever we can do to help, right guys (and gals)? ![]()

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
A year was a ballpark based on est. animation and render time.
Missa has already provided an amazing voice track. I guess everyone has already checked out her stuff at Clips4Sale. Let's move any further discussion over to my art thread, and leave this thread for a crowd funded project. |

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
Krusty, I read your message on dA and I would rather not reveal my own story idea for a live action transformation film. I don't mean to sound selfish, but I have been developing werewolf film ideas for years, but none have them have compelled me nearly as much as this. It is something I may do later on, but it is something I want to do. However, I am on board to help out with this project in anyway I can.
If you're going to pay homage to AAWIL, consider adding MB, that's the only thing I can think of. But that would be a plausible idea, doing An American Female Werewolf in London (the transformation, anyway). |

Also should note that there should be a lot of focus on the head/face change as well. I love when the teeth grow INTO fangs (as opposed to some of the movies gross teeth falling out crap), and the nose/mouth growing into a muzzle. The muzzle bit always seems to be lacking in most TF's I've seen. But yeah all in all it should be a female version of AWIL basically. Just please, for the love of god, no drooling. That was my biggest turn off in the Missa clip or it would've been perfect for a fetish clip. |

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
Wow, thanks for all the input!
Let's see: There will be more than one pair of breasts or teets (she is a she-wolf after all). There will be a muzzle and muzzle growth. There will be more of her face (I'm a fan of bladder effects too from 80s movies). No teeth or nails falling out. No skin ripping. The transformation is about body horror, the body being forced into a new form. There will be no drool. I never even considered it, and my tech can't do it anyway. Sorry, I'm not planning on doing a tail (yet). That may change. Inspirations include: AWIL The Howling UK Being Human Game of Werewolves The Lycanthrope My Lupine Life |

You should reconsider the tail.

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
There is a Mamabliss comic of a girl being proposed to by her boyfriend and she then takes a marvelous transformation into a werewolf, multibreast, fur muzzle re-arching of hind feet and legs, THE WORKS, cuz you know Mama don't play

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
I don't want to ruin your cheerful party, but I've read that you have the idea of making it CGI. So, you give up before even starting? I mean, I thought that you were all here to think about how to create the ultimate female werewolf transformation. For me, if you do CGI style, you will go one step behind from any live-action video.
My reasoning is that yes, you can, with much effort, create something better than Gryf already did some time ago. Well, that would be wonderful and so on, but it is still far from what was intended here, or am I wrong? Sorry for not being so constructive about this, but I can give you an idea about how to reduce costs and avoid the use of animatronics (so you will save some money on the process): you could get two prosthetics for two different transformation stages, and then use the CGI to morph the "earlier" one into the "later" one. So for these effects you should need someone with experience with prosthetics, and someone who could handle a decent morphing software... well, in the second case you don't even need an expert, I assume. And to finalize, as others before me have stated, the best idea is to support an artist who were a member of this forum, so you could minimize the "artistic" differences that could arise during the process, and to avoid working with someone who is not "into this". Good luck with the project... |

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
To be clear: I am working on a CG project, but that us a private project that may get released to the community if I finish it sometime next year.
This thread is about doing a crowd funded project in whatever form. I'm pretty sure that we are allowed to have more than one project going at a time. My apologies that my project kind of took over. Any further discussion for my project should be put on a separate thread. Go crazy! |

Re: SheWolf crowd funded project
Well let me be a little more clear on at least what I was aiming for. I'm all for doing An American Werewoman in London in any way, shape, or form that gets it done and done right. If that is live action with animatronics, fake bladders, rubber hands and feet and ripping clothing, fine, lets do that.
If on the other hand it can look something like: http://affect3d.com/girlfriends4ever/ (warning, futanari) then there's not really much of anything we can't imagine going on in the scene. It might push a few boundaries on a technical level, but isn't that what you're supposed to do with technology in the first place? You can look at Gryf's work. Look at the difference in quality between his Dolphin transformation and his Weresnake. There's a lot of subtle but noticeable things going on and in my opinion the effects in the Weresnake are just as good as anything live action has produced (especially in film in recent years). The difference, in my eyes, was cost effectiveness. If you have the choice and the money, of course I'd want it done live action. But lets say doing the entire transformation scene from American Werewolf in London only with a woman would cost about $50,000 for live action, or only $5,000 in CGI. Just how far are people willing to go to go full on live action? I guess that question could only really be answered by doing a Kickstarter and setting the final stretch goal as doing it all live action. These are just numbers I made up for ease of text, the numbers could be far higher or lower, but I wouldn't know because Miro of Girlfriends 4 Ever hasn't replied to my email asking if he'd be interested in doing a Female Werewolf in London project yet. If he does, at least I'd have a basic idea of the cost to do something in that style. Hopefully thenightwolf will hear something back from his effects guys on a ballpark number and perhaps we can go from there. So I do apologize if I gave the impression of only wanting to do it CGI or ignoring live action. I'm simply trying to figure out the best way to get the best bang for our bucks and to see some furry boobies! ^_^
