The 'new' Spyro game

Well God forbid - I found something else to contribute - what a freaking miracle!! To anyone that hasn't played the 'new' Spryo the Dragon game - I'd suggest don't, total bastardization of a good series, but that's not the point. My twin, that's right, twin brother (can you believe that there's 2 of me out there??) beat that awful game and informed me that at the end the black dragon villain reverts to her un-corrupted true age (got to love dark magic insta-maturity) which is around the same age as the hero Spyro (anywhere between 10-15 i think, maybe younger, but its dragons so who knows - she still goes from super bitch to kid though) and she's all nice and what not. So, that's my bit - you guys (and/or ladies) feel free to comment on the game and/or the AR, because conversation is a good thing - especially when everyone seems so damn quiet around here.

spyro 1-3 are generally considered very good platformers and were done by insomniac. after they stopped, the series went downhill

That would be correct - just dragons and a few other creatures, depending on what games your playing, talking like people. Insomniac made the first 3 games great, but when Sierra (maker of the King's Quest games - the seventh has AR at the very end...hm...) took over the game title they completely changed what the game had been about. This new incarnation of Spyro only had one good thing - Spryo was voiced by elijah wood and his dragonfly companion was voiced by david spade. :P

Oh, and I notice that I'm noted as a process fan - vwoot!!! no more lurker status for me!

Insomniac sold the rights to the franchise to Universal who then whored it out.
But then Insomniac started making Ratchet and Clank ^.^
