A few other things happen in the series.

Episode 6 before the opening shows the female leads as infants while the male lead explains the main theme of the episode(every episode) to the audience(us).

Episode 7 has the students of the whole school slowing catifying first taking on cat mannerisms and than showing ears and a tail.

Episode 10 has a Phantom girl the size of a doll transformed to a normal sized human.

EDIT: I forgot to mention.

In episode 12 The male leads explains the episode theme before the opening while he shows for two seconds himself as a female.
