Re: She Hulk TF @ Universal Studios
I look forward to the day we get a live-action She Hulk who manages to strike the perfect balance of femininity and hulkishness, because aside from this video, most renditions of she hulk are just a tall green woman with a slightly athletic build. Even this version isn't hulk enough. I think it's time we got a version like this:

Re: She Hulk TF @ Universal Studios
*Shrugs* I wouldn't call it "bonus points", but more or less a "following" of recent trends to change races of previously established characters.
They've changed Iris and her family to black in CW's the Flash, a change which I feel worked and fully support (especially her father, Joe is probably my favorite character on the show after Cisco) Scooby Doo, last I heard, was trying to make Velma an Asian in their live action features Spiderman just recently changed MJ to black for their upcoming movies Etc, etc. I'm sure there's others I'm forgetting, but my point is it's a change that's been happening the last 5 years or so. If they do end up making Jen black, they are merely following the trend in order to boost profits. Smart move on their parts, really. |

Re: She Hulk TF @ Universal Studios
You have trouble finding black people and women given positive media coverage? Cause that seems pretty standard and I know I'd hate it if the reason they get positive coverage is their ethnicity or gender. I'd rather it be based on something a little more substantial to them as a person.
I'd give bonus points to the amount of muscle packed onto this hulk since the only slightly athletic build female hulks are given seems at odds with the strength gain and more muscle makes sense. |
