Really, there isn't a good way to do this without being creepy. Even if we ask questions that aren't creepy on their face, the fact that it's coming from a fetish community makes it creepy.

"What's your shoe size?" is not necessarily a creepy question to ask in certain social contexts but it becomes creepy when you know the person asking it is a foot fetishist. And I don't think we're making it better by discussing amongst ourselves how not to clue the filmmaker off that our main interest in their work is whether or not we'll find it wankable.
