Re: Shrinking Poll

The best part of shrinking to me is how the shrinkee feels about it. She is challenged and embarrassed and must find ways to overcome.

Straight Shrinking (SSh)
5: The details don't matter as long and they integrate well into the larger story.

Proportional Shrinking (PS)
3: I prefer increased cuteness.

Realistic Shrinking (RS)
8: I like this better.

Other/Localized Shrinking (OL)
3: Can get squicky if done wrong.

According To Science (AS)
2: Mostly this tends to take the fun away.

Science Schmience (SS)
2: Opposite. The results and her responses are the most interesting.

Temporary Shrinking (T)
6: Has potential, but could be done wrong.

Wardrobe Malfunction (WM)
8: Always fun, but can interfere with the visuals. Fine in a story I suppose.

Retains Mass (RM)
2: Nah, that takes all the fun away.

Size Category Small (SCS)
8: Even 5 ft could be fun for someone used to being much bigger. I like 4 ft.

Size Category Tiny (SCT)
5: 3-18 inches. Okay, but risks rendering the shrinkee useless and bored out of my.. um her skull. This can work if lots of people are shrunk and there is plenty for them to do.

Size Category Micro (SCM)
2: Zzzz. Microbes are boring to talk to.

Size Category Atomic (SCA)
2: Not really shrinking at this point. It's just traveling to another dimension.
