That's a nice thought, but I really am bad at searches. Most of the stuff I've found by accident or from a link of a huge 'warehouse' type site, like the Page of Boobs.

I believe these are simply hair decorations (like, say, Sailor Moon's "dango") and not actual biological organs...

I remember this. I think it was discussed on the BEA forum. If I remember correctly, you have posted the only be scene in the whole manga. I may be wrong though, and I'm not very good with the searches there since they've changed it.

Well, I wasn't too sure. Japan has had a lot of fucked-up stuff in the past, and tits growing out of a girl's head wouldn't be the weirdest thing I've seen.
