The weirdo "kid" is her "Father" or Boyfriend, I am thinking her boyfriend (I will have to watch it again to see) who found her in the Bamboo forest. she was saying good bye to him.

I am not sure why its blurry I am assuming the tape was like that cause it was the tv movie. I seen an un-blurry version before which most likely came from the retail VHS tape.

I'm struggling to even find the original version, now.. I'm seeing several better quality ones online, but they're all censored. Anyone happen to have a link for the uncensored version?

If it is censoring her vagina but not her breasts then it is a Japanese censoring thing, Which is in the original to the best of my remembrance.

Both are censored. Neither was censored in the original clip...

I have a really old version that only has the censoring on bottom. However the quality is terrible.

Be advised he starts out discovering a baby in a bamboo plant, as one does, and then the baby rapidly ages from little kid to full-grown adult and lastly to GTS. So, while he is not technically her father or even related to her, he (kinda) looked like a quasi-parent when she leaves for school in one scene.

Also, there's not much to the story. He just appears in the bamboo forest for no apparent reason and he has sexy magazines and posters all over his unkept apartment. I think this was a proof-of-concept ergo look what special effects we can do when we retell a famous fairy tale.
