What do you like in a transformation story? - Page 2

I do not like sex in my TF stories at all, unless it is human on human. I especially find arousing transformations to be quite unappealing, and even worse are stories that turn the transformee into a complete nympho whore. But I believe in this case, I'm in the minority.

IMO, you can't go wrong with spectacle. I like TF stories that overwhelm the senses with their descriptions; it's fun to let yourself get carried away with all that imagery.

Making the sequence sexy goes a long way toward accomplishing this.

A good plot is what makes us remenber the story a few days later after we read it...

I remember good scenes more easily than good plot. With TF stories, I'll read the whole thing once, then go back time and again for the juicy bits, skipping the rest.

Wow, thanks for the feedback. I must admit I'm surprised. Now I'm glad I asked. I didn't realize how important plot actually was. When the poll was first started it was by far the most popular choice. Sex and nudity caught up some since then, but it's still the clear winner.

I once saw a request for animal transformation during sex. I'm guessing that would be popular with quite a few people here. If there's anyone who'd like a story better if it didn't have sex now would be a good time to chime in.

I'll go ahead and admit that I'm here for the 'low-brow' variety--just plain sexual fetish. Now that isn't to say I haven't enjoyed the plot in some stories, but there are very many where the plot overshadows the sexuality. To many this is a good thing; for me, it really isn't. I read novels for excellent plots and come to the interwebs' fetish sites looking for porn.

I don't think either is right or wrong, really, but I thought I'd throw my two cents' in there. Rei-Lin's 'Moon Coin' story is an excellent example of the sort I like. It's clearly a fetish story, and I think the focus is on exploring interesting transformations and the like, but there's good writing and an overall plot tying it together.
