sketches

and thats what it is, a paper with stuff on it, rasterized by a scanning device,
transformed to a compressed format,
that traveled some tubes
and eventualy visualized by a device that outputs pixels

actually thought about BE but that just didn't happen i gues
hope you can enjoy a simple sketch

Re: sketches

You should really look into getting a graphics tablet. From what I'm seeing, it wouldn't be wasted on ya. I can recommend some good/cheap ones, if you like.

Re: sketches

For my part, I have the cheapest one they still sell here:

http://www.aiptek.com/Merchant2/merc...tegory_Code=T1

But if you're used to drawing on paper larger than 8.5x11 (and actually filling up the page), then you might want something a little larger.

They're inferior to Wacom tablets, in that they require an AA battery and have no functioning eraser. That said, I've only had to replace the battery twice or so, and I never much used the eraser on my old Wacom Graphire tablet anyways. (Personally, I prefered to use hot-keys to switch between eraser and pen tip when I had the Wacom. So, no skin off *my* nose, there.)

Those two things aside, it works absolutely the same as a Wacom tablet. And it has a thicker cord, which is what killed my Wacom. (The cord wore out and freyed about a millimeter out from the tablet.)

Re: sketches

how does the positioning ( as in a wacom who can show you where the cursor is even if you hover above the tablet ) work?.. is it just the same?, if so, that would be very nice
i already looked at the bamboo stuff from wacom which is ( at the size i prefer, ~A5 ) still expensive but i definitely want the hover position thingy

that all said, thanks for the info , and here's another sketch
