Bearchive forum down?
Is anyone else unable to get to the bea forum? For half a day now it's told me it's not on this server. Is it down or hacked or is it just my computer?

I have bad news for those who visit the BEarchive. You now have to be a paid member to visit any portion of their site. Just like everyone else they have their hand going into your wallet. Sorry!

it's something very strange... i read that they had recive an hacker attack... but it's a brutal decision to put in pay area even the forum... and it's even strange that it's like more than 2 weeks without update at the BEstoryclub....

I didn't hear anything about making it a pay-only forum, and I go there several times a day.
Where did you hear this from Zman, or are you just shit-stirring? Edit:: I should add that earlier today I tried to go to the forums via my bookmarks and was met with a page saying "The requested URL /ubbthreads.php was not found on this server.". I tried without the ubbthreads.php part and was met with the same page. Now when I go I get redirected to the main page of the BEA (www.bearchive.com). Edit 2:: Also, I should mention that I am a member of the BE Story Club, which on it's main member page has a link to the Plume forum page, which also redirects back to the BEA main page. DeathJester, I think that to see the forum "we" are to be member of the BEA not of the BE Story Club, that i am member too.

A lot of adult forums are getting hit with DOS attacks lately - 4chan has had problems, too. I don't know that it's the problem at BEA, but it seems likely.

Guess I will have to wait this out and see what happens, much like when the boards got blown up and they had to temporarily restart them until the old threads could be recovered not too long ago.

Although I do not know for sure it might just be a glitch. I had not heard anything about their site becoming only pay content, and I have not looked into it, however this link still gets you to the main site where you can still find all the galleries with their free content, the little that is:

The Addventure, as well, is still in the free area. I would assume technical incompetence over malice until evidence to the contrary appears.
