Ok so this isn't an illustrated process exactly. But consider my avatar (which will always be my ref character) the first part of it, and then I used downturned eyes and confusion to illustrate the transformation, opposed to a parrallel version.

I actually just happened to draw this, with the fact I got a subforum on Proccess I can post it on in the back of my mind. Mikael is my art reference character, and his nickname is Ninji.
