11fifty and I want to upgrade our studio and effects, and that's gonna cost. So we're running a fundraiser. If you've ever thought of something you'd like to see in video form, here's your chance. You can get your idea shot for as little as $100, or donate more and get videos to sell in your own clip store. (Take it from me, you'll very likely make your money back and then some.) We want to move to a better studio, upgrade our motion capture equipment, get better lighting and a better greenscreen, and a whole bunch of other stuff. And we're not just going to make fetish clips, either--we want to make actual films and try our hand at 3D Games for the Oculus Rift. Yes, this includes fetish-based games, and yes, they'll be playable without the Rift (just not as good ^_^).

We will be able to do really good versions of all sorts of transformations. SW, GTS, BE, TF, TG, Inflation, Belly Expansion...if you can dream it we can do it. (The only exception we're making is AP/AR; we'd prefer to avoid getting anywhere even remotely close to the idea of anything involving minors.)

There are also lower donor levels with other rewards, but I've seen enough video ideas/requests to know there are quite a few interested parties out there. We absolutely guarantee that if you donate at an appropriate level you WILL get a video made, and as long as we make our goal you'll get it with some really amazing effects. (If not, we plan to get whatever upgrades we can, so there will be SOME improvements as long as we make at least some money.) No empty promises. If you've seen any of our stuff before, you know we will do nudity; we -may- be able to do sexually explicit content, depending on whether we have a model available to do so, so that's the one thing we can't promise.

@godley-Sorry, nothing personally against AP/AR, it's just that 11 fifty prefers to avoid any potential problems, you know? Sort of the same reason there's a very strict process-only rule on our subforum. In a way it's a shame, I expect we could get some business from that area, but alas...

There are belly inflation - pregnant ideas that I have, but I don't know if I could swing 100 for it.

I don't view any investment in Dave Sammon's studio to be a good use of someone's funds. The man has not improved in a significant degree for nearly 10 years. He hasn't been able to keep up with the pace of technology.

In his defense, his selection of models has increased since he first started. But he seems to be at a competitive disadvantage to the likes of, say, Missa, Katelyn Brooks, or others who have at least shown massive improvement or present talent with modern-looking effects and techniques.

I don't know Dave personally. But he seems to be in a perpetual state of experimentation, with a high lack of polish in his released products. Please do not give any money. Direct it elsewhere if you want to have something created with a good degree of quality.

The creative rights would be- you own the clip. It's your copyright. We don't sell it, we don't profit off of it, you do what you want with it. Should you choose to sell it, we'll promote it for you via 11fifty's tumblr, making a trailer for it, etc. etc. If you want to sell it via clips4sale we can help you with setting up your store.

More details? Well, any video we create for the donors would be average duration for us (typically between 5 and 10 minutes, although of course we want to do the idea justice...) As far as special props/costumes/whatever, well, that would depend on what it is. We may already have something we can use, we may be able to CG something in, or it may be something that has to be supplied by the commissioner. It would really depend. No other disclaimers apart from the ones already mentioned.

Yep. It's one of the things that's very hard for us to shoot right now with current studio space, but one of those things we could do much better with a better studio.

Really. NOT cool. The whole point of this is that we DO want to upgrade and we DO want to improve; we're dissatisfied with our current limitations because we know we CAN do better. If you don't want to contribute any money, then don't, but it's extremely rude of you to tell anyone else "Please do not give any money to this, direct it elsewhere." Who do you think you are?

You're right, I forgot how it is a statement's author that is most important to its merit, not its content. Anything worth being listened to requires an identity people respect, with its attached reputation and history. Similarly, someone's reputation and history are important factors to consider when deciding whether to trust someone or not with an investment opportunity like this.

I don't fully believe Dave Sammons knows how to do better. To be clear, I'm not saying anything about you, qzar.

Don't get me wrong, my intent isn't negativity and disparaging your project. I view this as informing the uninformed audience that there is a large risk / Buyer Beware situation inherit in your pitch. The fact that it goes against your interests is the side effect, so I understand your reaction.

I've thrown my money around at anything that has even the faintest whiff of fetish material and taken hits on things others would be hard pressed to -- such was my desire and susceptibility to the hype of a hint of process material. I've also sold plenty of material and seen the business strategy for getting fetish folks to part with their money. I know how eager our audience is. I've hobnobbed with clip producers, seen how the internet warps a person, and been exposed to the liars, the cheats, and the fakes. That's who I am.

I gave Dave about $2000 years ago, thinking about starting up a studio, investing in his potential, and was sorely disappointed with what I got in return. Since that time, I've seen little improvement in his standards and execution. He's always been several steps behind in models, technology, and in his execution. Now he wants $15,000! That's a very, very large amount of money in these circles.

He's consistently outclassed by more talented and more attractive producers in a highly competitive arena.

I do not have faith that investing in Dave Sammons will bring you what you expect for your money, but our audience has bankrolled worse.

Take this as one man's opinion who has pretty high standards, though -- nothing to get angry about. See it for what it is.

Yeah, I'm not comfortable with his directing style, but ya gotta admit he has Quantity to a science.

Now, I think it might not be so bad with someone else's creative vision driving the project...

Perhaps that's the aim, here?
