My Pathetic Attempt At Photomanipulation (Updated)
Hello everyone!
Not much to offer at the moment. Thought I'd try my hand at photomanipulation (again...). I give to you my very amateur effort at a horse tf.  EDIT 1 (4/20/16): Gave it another shot today, and decided to try working with scales. Hopefully it came out alright (I tried to make it look as though her skin is flaking off in bits, and the scales are forming just beneath the surface). Worked on some toe-melding too. The talon on the big toe is kind of bugging me, though; it just looks off. I'll have to try and work on that some more.

Everything starts with a single step. You don't have fully realized shops springing forth the first time you open photoshop.
On the tail, you should try taking a toe and extending it into the hair, then fading it into the body to show the bones and skin underneath. |

Well, thanks guys. I'm definitely happy you think this is a good start (I stared at it for about an hour, tinkering, wondering if I was actually making it worse lol). I have to give props to the professional manipulators: This took forever to make. Those folks must have unassailable patience.
