I understand that after the first few seasons, they wanted to keep Pokemon as a kid's show, but yeah; they overdone Ash's naïveté. And the 4Kids dubbing did not help, either.

Kinda pisses me off that they went the obvious route and changed their mission statement from "4Kids" to "4Licensing" so easily.

Kinda like how Cartoon Network doesn't air cartoons anymore.
