Oh those pesky wizards and their trinkets. Always causing ruckus.

Veronica had so much power by the end there, and to have to give it up so suddenly like that.... Can't blame her for being an emotional wreck.

It's a fun story, and a good read. I can't imagine the military would just let them go like that, but maybe they're still under surveillance. Possibly by a foreign government as well.
